Coal slime has many similarities with lignite in terms of physical properties, element analysis, industrial analysis, etc. Therefore, coal slime is easy to burn, has a lower decomposition temperature, initial combustion temperature and burn-out temperature, and the time required for complete combustion is also relatively short. Coal slime generally contains about 30% of water, the heating and evaporation of this water will take away a part of the heat from the material bed (change the bed temperature), this change will affect the operation of the boiler. The increase in flue gas volume and the change in fly ash concentration after mixing coal slime will have different effects on the heat transfer, ash accumulation and wear of the convective heating surface, as well as the operation of the induced draft fan and the dust collector, such as the increase of induced draft fan current and the dust collector output, the decrease of boiler oxygen and slag cooler output.
